Use Light to Prove the Earth is Flat

Rationale:
Two locations A and B on the earth have a distance of X(km). If X is small enough, then light traveling in a straight line on AB will not encounter the obstacle of curvature.
If X is large enough, then light traveling in a straight line will not be able to travel from A to B.
In this experiment:
- A = Wales
- B = Northern Ireland
Infrared light must encounter a curvature that interferes (according to the spherical earth model), but in reality it does not.
Does light follow a curve? The answer is for readers.
Infrared, Laser, or any light, basically travels in a straight line. Even if the light is according to Maxwell's theory or according to the Ether medium, they are all straight.
The special case is that curved space will cause light to follow a curve. This is Einstein's theory. I have no comment on Einstein's theory of relativity. Because his followers are many.
